Entrepreneur Peter Ton was previously at the helm of a successful Information Technology business in Europe. A succession of trips to Asia inspired Peter’s career change; the sale of his IT company; and his entry into the property development business and the subsequent birth of Baan Ing Phu.

 

 

Peter explained his vision behind the development:

 

“I had visited Thailand and other Asian countries for 12 years and had always felt comfortable here.

 

I thought I would come to Thailand and do something totally different – something more tangible. I came across an investment opportunity in a real estate project a few kilometres inland from Hua Hin and the rest is history.

 

My initial idea was to build five villas on a small piece of land but this development eventually mushroomed into something more substantial.
 
I agreed to invest and decided I wanted to buy part of the land plot to build a development of my own. Eventually, I decided to buy more land and I ended up with the whole project.

 

My vision of developing a villa project differs from other developments. I believe I am in a privileged position because at Baan Ing Phu all our customers have the possibility to build their private dream villa, and I am able to build my own village, and not many people can say that
